EVENT

2.1.

The Estonian Speed King 2010 (hereafter Event) will be held on from 10.04.2010 to 30.11.2010

VENUE

3.1.

The event spots  will be based only in Estonian waters.

4.

RULES

4.1.

The General Instruction for Speed events of EWA.

4.2.

Competitions are organized in accordance with rules established by the GPS Speedsurfing.com.

4.3.

Run in Estonian waters is taken into account for the results.

4.4.

The results of the event will be taken from www.gps-speedsurfing.com registered runs.

4.5.

Participants are required to register on the website in section 4.4, and then on the same page to register with the Estonian Speed King 2010 event competitors.

4.6.

The official GPS of the event is the (B)GT-11, (B)GT-31, by LOCOSYS Technology. But Garmin such as the Foretrex 201 and Forerunner 201 are still acceptable.

4.7

The results are only counted when they are by the rules of gps-speedsurfing.com

4.8

Title shall be issued 01.12.2010 on the gps-speedsurfing.com website Estonian Speed King 2010 contest 5x10 seconds fastest average speed reached competitor.

4.9

The event shall be deemed, when at least one run is done by the rules of gps-speedsurfing.com.

4.10

Information about competition is issued on (www.purjelaualiit.ee) and (www.speedsurf.blogspot.com)

4.11

When posting a session this must be within 7 days when the session has be sailed.

4.12

The last day of the events is 30 November 2010th

4.13

The results must be posted no later than 1.12.2010

4.14

If there is conflict between languages the Estonian text shall prevail.

5.

PARTICIPATION IN EVENTS

5.1

Events are open and everyone who own equipment accepted by the organizer and fulfill the requirements of the organizer can participate.

5.2

The registration for the Event is free.

6.

DIVISIONS

6.1

Men - all male competitors.

Women – all female competitors.

7.

LIABILITY

7.1

Competitors take part in all races at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race.  The LOA or any of their officials or representatives or the sponsors or their officials or representatives is not responsible, under any circumstances, for any damage, loss or injury either ashore or on the sea either to persons or equipment, which may result.

7.2

Participation in this event, supporting events and in each race is at the sole discretion of the sailor and at his/her own risk.

7.3

Neither organisation nor individual will be held responsibility for any moral or material damage that may be sustained during travel or arrival at the Championship venue.

7.4

It is the responsibility of each competitor to participate in the safest possible manner at all times.

8.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

8.1

Competitors must register at www.gps-speedsurfing.com.

8.2

Then be user has to log on and register for events by clicking on : my gps – my equipment – events. Open the event to find a list of „Estonian Speed King 2010“ and click the plus sign anchored behind.

8.3

Post your gps results to website.

8.4

When posting a session this must be within 7 days when the session has be sailed.

8.5

Results must be stored in your computer, because they can be checked later if necessary.

8.6

9.

EVENT RANKINGS

9.1

Divisions are accounted separately.

9.2

The first place goes to the competitor with the fastest 5x10 sek. avg. time.

10.

PRIZES AND OFFICIAL TITLES

10.1

The Estonian Speed King 2010 winner is event overall winner.

10.2

The title of Estonian GPS Speed Champion 2010 Estonian Championship will be given to the best competitor who residents in the Republic of Estonia in all divisions. A division will qualify for awards if there is at least five competitors registered.

10.3

Medals or trophies may be awarded up to the first three competitors in each Division, depending on entry numbers.

10.4

Organizers, sponsors and all interested can post in addition to and special prizes.
