Nice session to test an old Tabou Manta 68 from almost 20 years ago.
Yesterday most wind forecasts promised for today in Herkingen a strong 23 knots with gusts up to 34 knots. They were all wrong! At least is wasn't that gusty at all. The wind was less than 20 knots even in the gusts. The 7.0 felt underpowered. Nevertheless a easy ride to experience what the Manta could still do on the water.
The old Manta has still a very strong acceleration and is easy to ride but it's not fast yet. I need to tune this board so it sticks less to the water to get better speeds.
